BURSA MALAYSIA COVERAGE

All the stocks on Bursa Malaysia (> 1000) have been back-tested extensively  to yield historical trades from which probability can be calculated. The historical data is then combined with real time transactional data to determine their probability.  The main function of Bursa Tracker is price movement forecasting to make profitable trades.

How is The Probability Indicator calculated?

Back-testing simulates trading with historical values using BursaTracker's customized technical indicators. It identifies all historical trades and determines the winning trade percentages of each counter.

When to Consider Executing A Trade.

Some of the stocks will show buy or sell signals. Buy signals represent stocks which may be considered for purchase at the suggested price. If a sell signal occurs for a stock already held, a sale should be considered.

By dynamically applying the most optimized parameters, BursaTracker then determines the status for every counter.

What is the CURRENT STATUS of any stock?

BursaTracker reflects a stock in 1 of 4 possible states at any point in time. They are either:

  1. 1) BUY  – signifies a buying opportunity represented by either the very first buy signal or a chance to accumulate further. So if you see this green triangle it means a buy signal.

    2) SELL – signifies a sell signal that can mean the first sell signal or a further sell if you missed the first sell signal.

    3) Bearish  – this indicates counter is in its bearish phase with a downward bias

    4) Bullish   – this indicates counter is in its bullish phase with an upward bias

PROBABILITY := Indicates the hit rate of the signals (Buy/Sell) generated respectively for each counter historically. Ranges from 0-100%, with a higher number indicative of a higher success rate of the Buy/Sell signals resulting in profitable trades.
